Impact Realty Idaho is a locally owned, independent brokerage founded by Benj Foreman. After years in real estate, Benj decided to build a brokerage around the kind of experience he wants his clients to have—personal, straightforward, responsive, and focused on their best interests. He also wanted to use real estate as a way to make a positive impact on people’s lives and throughout the local community.

About Me

My whole life everybody has always called me Benj (short for Benjamin).

I grew up in Hailey, Idaho and have been privileged to live in many different places around the world since then. I spent ten years in France, three years in Scotland, and fifteen years in Israel. After travelling the world for twenty-five years, I’m thrilled to be back in the beautiful state of Idaho.

Prior to my career in real estate, I worked as an Old Testament professor/scholar and published articles and books on a variety of topics related to the Hebrew language, ancient Near Eastern history, and historical geography. My background in education taught me how to communicate clearly, conduct thorough independent research, find creative solutions, and pay close attention to detail. All these skills, I believe, are extremely helpful in the real estate industry.

I love working with people, and as a real estate agent I am committed to clear and thorough communication with my clients, listening to their needs, working with precision and professional integrity, and ultimately make the buying and selling process an enjoyable experience.

My Life

  • Yael and I have been married since 2002, and have been blessed with four precious children: Yair (b. 2009), Jonathan (b. 2012), Odeliah (b. 2013), and Tehila (b. 2014)

  • I love writing, hunting, fishing, and real estate (buying, selling, and investing).

  • Education:

    • B.A. in Biblical Studies from The Master’s University (2001)

    • MA in Hebrew and Ancient Near Eastern Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2006)

    • Ph.D. in Old Testament from the University of Aberdeen (2009) 

  • EMT Certification (Israel) in 2015
